The Butcher Carrabs Mario presents his online website marketing of meats, cheeses, wines and typical products from Irpinia and Campania, with opening for Italian products in general. Product traceability and the culture of production is proposed.
The shop on the web for Mario Carrabs has been online for about a month by offering a version of butchery atypical. We interviewed the owner of the new online company: Mario Carrabs.

Int: "Mario, before you speak more extensively on your site I would like to ask you to introduce yourself to the public that still does not know you. Who is Mario? A butcher, a sommelier, an expert on local products, what else? "


Mario: "I thank you first of all for giving me the opportunity to tell a little about me and the new company that we have achieved. Before I define me somehow I will tell you that I’m here now because I love what I do, because I've always lived in an environment close to production, land, to wines. I grew up since childhood in the
butcher's shop of my mother, who first was of my grandfather;  it was natural for me to inherit and go to work. It was not an obligation, I can say that in the end it was really what I always wanted to do. I discovered over the years, giving voice to my feelings”


Int: "And among these passions has always been the wine?"


Mario: "Well actually there have always been the odors and flavors. I always loved the good tastes and good  smells, the move to wine was almost inevitable. When I came into contact with the sommelier school I had already my little personal wine store “


Int: "But this has allowed you to put together the two worlds: that of meat and wine."


Mario: "About meat and livestock had already become an expert for my family too, I was at work at a butcher's boy when I was boy.  I soon learned that the types of meat are not all equal and that match wine by the color of the label was not a rewarding thing! The passion came later and the study as sommelier has done nothing but increase the desire to learn more and more "

 
Int: "For your new company you wanted to retain the name of Butcher but in fact it is not simply the complete transfer of a classic butcher shop on the Internet .."

Mario: "In fact the project is much broader. First we want to strengthen the fundamentals, however, namely products of which I myself am the producer, such as Capicollo, locally made sausages, brawn, the cheese, bacon and other products of butchery. With a steady pace we are carrying forward the project of exploitation of all that there is excellent all around us. I think about the Pepe wine cellars, those of Camerlengo wine cellars and other manufacturers who have placed their trust  for the exclusive internet offer of their best products. "


Int: "But the idea does not finish with the sale?"


Mario: "This was the point of honor that will keep the faith: always get to the bottom and find out what's behind it. Present the products with their producers. Showing off why the quality is not invented and why we want people to do things well done. We will show the sights and history of everything ends up on our site. "

 
Int: "And about these people (the producers), do you really know them?"


Mario: "Yes, the majority of producers and places you see on this website are my personal friends from years.  My work of spreading the typical product took me to shows, events, presentations and local authorities for years and is in these places that I've known many friends among the large and small producers "


Int: "Even the restaurants?"


Mario: "That of eating well has always been my passion. Some of the people I had the fortune to know are the owners of famous restaurants on the Amalfi Coast, Urbino, Naples and Rome. The professional collaboration with them has added to staff ratio of Friendship "


Int: "I know that some of these restaurants expose the brand 'Meat from the Butcher’s shop of Mario Carrabs' as a distinctive sign"


Mario: "Well the thing fills us with pride and recognize our products and our way of working."
